Abstract

The temperature dependent rate constants and branching ratios for the reaction of O₂⁺ with CH₄ and O₂ with CD₄ from 500 to 1400 K were determined. By comparing to previous studies, the influence on vibrational excitation in the CH₄ reactant was derived.
