Abstract

The effectiveness of activated L. E. -T. E. (Leading Edge-Trailing Edge) control systems in gust alleviation and flutter suppression is demonstrated. It is observed that a ″utility″ type, preoptimized control law which is based on the concept of aerodynamic energy, brings about stable and powerful active control systems.
