ملخص
Projects are often described as one-time efforts to achieve a specific goal. However, many typical R&D projects are often not originally planned to end at a specific date or event, but (if successful) continue to the next version release and the one after, for the foreseeable future. The current scheduling methods developed for project scheduling do not provide the required tool for ongoing project managers. A novel application of clustering methods was developed to tackle this problem and provide (near) optimal scheduling and allocation of features to releases, based on precedence, values, resource demands and durations.
