ملخص

This paper describes an automated work measurement system based on integration of a computerized work measurement system and an existing speech recognition system. The prototype system receives as input a vocal description of the work and the workplace, analyzes the voice data, and then automatically computes the standard time for the described tasks. A careful analysis was done for minimizing the necessary input. Thus, the description of the operation is very short and can be done at the pace of an actual operation. The prototype system represents a significant step in the evolution of work measurement systems and will be detailed and demonstrated.
